Tehranchian is always actively involved within her community and has served as a governor of Seneca College, trustee of the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, director of Mackenzie Health Foundation, director of Art Canada Institute. She is also a member of the Research Campaign Cabinet, Planned Giving Advisory Committee, and Fundraising Advisory Board of The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, and the chair of ONE LIFE gala in support of The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. She currently serves on the national board of Advocis (the Financial Advisors Association of Canada).
