Maurice Pallone started his career at Rothenberg Wealth Management over three decades ago. The veteran advisor has an impressive list of accomplishments – and the key to this success has been his passion for what he does.
“The best part of my day – every day – is hearing the words ‘thank you’,” he says. “It’s incredibly rewarding to know that I’ve been able to help someone find a solution to their investment and retirement concerns.”
As a wealth management advisor and portfolio manager, Pallone helps enhance and improve clients’ daily lifestyle and retirement standard of living. He has consistently pursued that objective for more than three decades; along the way, he's helped hundreds of clients navigate the complexities of investing and put them on the path to financial freedom with peace of mind and confidence.
“I love every part of what I do – even the tough times when the markets don’t cooperate – because it is at those times when clients need me most to evaluate the situation and guide them through it,” he says.
While the COVID pandemic created challenges for the wealth industry, it presented an opportunity for Pallone to become much more effective and efficient. By vaulting his business to new levels, it set the stage for 2022 to become a breakout year.
“Despite the recent market volatility, I’ve had the most successful year in my career with regards to opening new accounts and gaining new assets,” he says. “My portfolio of assets under management surpassed $300 million.”
Aside from the chartered investment manager (CIM) designation, Pallone has the planificateur financiere (Pl. Fin.) designation from the Institut québécois de planification financière. Most recently, he acquired his Portfolio Manager designation to diversify his services.
“As a firm, we plan to start introducing our clients to managed accounts to see if it would be the right fit for them,” he says.
Pallone’s expertise in the business of wealth advice isn’t just limited to his designations. From the time he entered the doors of Rothenberg Wealth Management, his experiences with clients over the years have accrued into a wealth of insight that’s not easily captured in any book.
“There is theory and there is practice. My 34+ years with the Rothenberg Wealth Management have helped me learn from my experiences to help guide our clients through the good and rough times,” he says.
“I am very proud of our clients when they stick to the plan and don’t get sidetracked by the noise of what they are hearing from the media when the markets are down. … People retire once – so we need to be careful, prepare ourselves and do it right.”
When he’s not working with clients, Pallone enjoys reading motivational and self-help books, as well as watching and playing sports. He also loves to play board games with his kids.
