“I will continue to empower and encourage my staff to perform at their best as I have done for the last decade. I will continue to advocate for my clients, embracing new technology and being open to business and industry changes”

Stephanie Wolfe oversees all marketing and communications activities at Global X Investments Canada and brings more than two decades of experience driving growth and innovation in the financial services sector.
Previously, she was the head of Canada marketing at BlackRock and most recently, served as strategic advisor, women’s segment for BMO Private Wealth.
She is a passionate advocate for empowering women to achieve financial wellness and is a certified financial coach. In 2017, she won the Executive Coaching Award for Women in Capital Markets. She is also an active board member of Women in ETFs, an organization focused on the advancement of women in finance. “It’s an opportunity for women to network across the industry. We have a mentorship program that’s free for all women within the industry to join. I believe in giving back to women who are in the industry just starting out, through coaching and mentorship,” she says.
In 2019, she founded her own company, Wolfe Collective Wealth, where she coached women and taught them how to invest, before joining Global X in 2023. “The women I coached were typically entrepreneurs, business owners, or successful in their careers, who wanted to understand how they could take control of their wealth but weren't sure where to start,” says Wolfe. “The industry seems scary, but as a female who had the experience and could help them, they were thrilled once they got into the coaching program. We built that confidence to understand that they could take control of their wealth. To this day, I get text messages and emails from them, giving me updates about their successes in their wealth-building journey. So, it was a very rewarding career,” she explains.
Wolfe closed the coaching program when she joined Horizons ETFs in 2023 as Head of Marketing. She oversaw the company’s major rebrand in May 2024, as Horizons ETFs became Global X. Global X is one of the world’s largest ETF platforms, owned by South Korea’s Mirae Asset Financial Group, which manages over 800 billion of assets across the globe.
In October 2024, Wolfe helped Global X make a major coup by partnering with long-time BNN Bloomberg news anchor Jon Erlichman for his new YouTube channel ‘Ticker Take with Jon Erlichman,’ which produces investing content to inform Canadians about financial markets, as well as financial commentary, news and education.
Wolfe holds a BA from the University of Waterloo, a master’s certificate in marketing from Schulich School of Business York University, and successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course.

What are his plans for the future?
On a business level, “more of the same. I will continue to empower and encourage my staff to perform at their best as I have done for the last decade. I will continue to advocate for my clients, embracing new technology and being open to business and industry changes.”
On a personal level, Dixon invests significant time, effort and funds, along with his GT3, to support many charities through his passion for motorsport. From participating in and sponsoring the Thunderbolt Run (which provides tens of thousands of dollars in support for Beyond Blue and Prostate Cancer), to organising and running the Track Knights for Amira charity night where 28 Exotic Supercars raised funds through passenger laps in wet conditions, Dixon states “this is our time to give back to the community and those in need. My friendships and association with those seeking to do the same, allows us to contribute to those less fortunate and raise funds and awareness”.
He adds: “To be able to give back to the community is rewarding and fulfilling. I am honoured to be in a position where I can raise funds for those less fortunate and in need.”
