An award-winning financial advisor since 1991, Tina Tehranchian is a senior wealth advisor at Assante Capital Management Ltd.
In addition to having numerous community, academic, and professional awards over the past decades, in 2020, Tehranchian was the first Canadian and the first woman to receive the top Senior Wealth Advisor of the Year Award from the International Association of Top Professionals.
She also received the Top Senior Wealth Advisor of the Decade and Empowered Woman of the Year Award from the same organization in 2021, and a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2024. Also, in 2024, Tehranchian was appointed to the Order of Canada.
In 2019, Tehranchian was the first recipient of the Financial Adviser of the Year award from Women in Finance Canada. In 2020, Women’s Executive Network (WXN), listed her as one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women. In 2023 and 2024, she was recognized as one of the Top 50 Women in Wealth and in 2024 as one of the 5-Star advisors in Ontario by Wealth Professional Canada.
Tehranchian is a sought-after speaker. Her highly acclaimed industry comments and advice have been published in The Wall Street Journal, The Globe and Mail, The Toronto Star, The National Post, Morningstar, and Yahoo Finance. She is also a frequent contributor to various publications and has been featured on CBC, CTV, and BNN.
Tehranchian has served on the boards of many charitable organizations and has raised millions of dollars for charities. She was elected to the board of Advocis (The Financial Advisors Association of Canada) in 2025.
