Dimitri Antonopoulos entered the workforce at a young age within an entrepreneurial family business. He also played competitive hockey in his youth. Both of these experiences taught him a lot about work ethic, discipline, and how to manage high-pressure moments successfully. Whether on the ice or in the office, Dimitri was able to visualize the end goal. He learned how to capitalize on strengths, find resources, map the steps, and be flexible with the ability to pivot when needed to achieve the end result.
In his career, these are the principles he applies every day with a focus on taking care of his clients by providing them the best advice possible. Throughout his roles as investment representative, financial planner, and ultimately, vice president for business development, success starts with simply learning from the client – what their business model is, their goals, their strengths, their challenges, and where they want to see their business grow. This understanding, along with his dedication to exceptional product knowledge and advice, has resulted in strong relationships built on trust.
Giving back to the community and industry is also important to Dimitri. Outside the office, he has participated in a fundraising event with young entrepreneurs to support a local hospital. He is also back on the ice for the yearly Hockey Helps the Homeless fundraiser in addition to coaching his son’s hockey team.
