David Gunn is the president of Edward Jones Canada, a full-service investment dealer serving communities from coast to coast. In his current role, David is responsible for more than 2,300 advisors, branch office administrators, and home-office associates who partner with individual investors to develop and follow strategies tailored to their specific needs and goals. He also leads and drives initiatives to further the Edward Jones vision of becoming the first choice of serious, long-term individual investors as a member of the firm’s management committee.
David began his Edward Jones career in 2000 as an advisor in Calgary, Alberta. He quickly proved to be an outstanding advisor and qualified for several Managing Partner’s Conferences. He served as a regional leader for two years, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills by adding 13 advisors to his region within a two-year period. David deepened his leadership skills by working in the firm’s St. Louis headquarters as branch and region development’s area 8 leader. He returned to Canada in December 2015 to lead financial advisor talent acquisition.
A native of St. Thomas, Ontario, David graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with honours) from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. He is also a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School’s Securities Industry Institute from 2013 to 2015.

Moira Klein-Swormink joined Edward Jones in 2016 and was named principal in 2022. She is currently responsible for the solutions area within the Client Strategies Group (CSG) in Canada. Through providing client needs research, complex case consultation, tools and resources, this area focuses on enabling branch teams to connect with clients in human-centred ways to deliver goals-based advice.
Moira began her career with Edward Jones as a department leader and was responsible for the launch of the Business Coaching Program and Advanced Branch Team Performance Consulting Program. She also served as director of branch training, where she led the effort to revamp the financial advisor onboarding program. Her responsibilities expanded to include firm conferences, events, and recognition as director of branch team performance.
In June 2020, Moira moved to CSG as director of goals-based advice and program strategy leader for the Client-Focused Reforms regulatory changes.

Naveen Rakkar is the human resources leader for Edward Jones Canada. She and her team contribute to the firm’s business outcomes by providing HR support for the Canada business segment. An accomplished HR executive with over 25 years of experience in the corporate sector with both Canadian and multinational organizations, she partners with leaders across Canada in creating comprehensive HR strategies that enables the organization to be one of the best employers.
Naveen joined Edward Jones in 2019 to lead the Canadian home office and field HR teams. She is a strategic leader who plays the role of trusted advisor to the company’s senior leaders. She is a change agent who collaborates across boundaries to create environments where individuals can thrive and achieve their potential. Before joining Edward Jones, Naveen held several senior HR management roles, most recently as vice president, Canada human resources at Ecolab.
She earned an honours bachelor’s degree in International Relations and English Literature from the University of Toronto and an International EMBA from the joint Kellogg-Schulich at Schulich School of Business in Toronto, Ontario.

Scott Sullivan
Principal, Canadian Products and Analytics
Scott Sullivan is a principal in the wealth management advice and solutions division of Edward Jones, where he leads all aspects of Canadian products, including managed investments, investment advisory, insurance, and the relationships with asset management and insurance product partners. Scott joined Edward Jones in February 2019 to lead the Canadian products area, where he and his team ensure that the company provides financial advisors with best-in-class investment solutions and platforms where they can create tailored strategies to help their clients achieve their financial goals.
In December 2021, the function of Canadian analytics was added to Scott’s responsibilities. He is also one of the members of the Canadian leadership team responsible for developing and executing on the long-term strategy for the Canadian business unit.
Prior to joining Edward Jones, Scott was a vice president with TD Bank Group, where he led the product and the portfolio advice and investment research functions for TD Wealth Management distribution businesses, including private wealth management and financial planning. Prior to that, Scott had spent the majority of his 21-year career at TD’s asset management division, where he led product development and management for TD Mutual Funds, Canada’s second largest mutual fund company. During his tenure, Scott was instrumental in launching some of the most successful investment solutions in Canada.

Principal, Compliance – Canada
Wayne Bolton serves as the chief compliance officer for Edward Jones Canada. In this role, he and his teams ensure that products, services, operations, procedures, initiatives, communications and training serve clients’ best interests, comply with industry standards and regulations, and are consistent with Edward Jones values.
Wayne joined Edward Jones in June 2012 and two months later was named chief compliance officer and chief anti-money laundering officer with responsibility for the Canadian Compliance and Supervision program and all compliance and supervision associates in Canada. He was named an Edward Jones principal in 2014.
Wayne has extensive compliance experience, which includes working with Invesco’s North America distributor compliance area, where he led the compliance departments of three business units in North America. He also served as Invesco’s vice president and chief compliance officer in Canada, with overall responsibility for the compliance program for Invesco Canada. Prior to Invesco, Wayne served as the vice president, compliance for the wealth management division at CIBC.
Wayne is a member of the Conduct, Compliance and Legal Advisory Section of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada and serves on the organization’s executive committee. He is also on the Board of Governors of Junior Achievement Central Ontario. He earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto.

David Phillips joined AXIS Capital as chief investment officer in April 2014. With more than 25 years of experience in investments, he previously served as head of investments for PartnerRe, where he had management and asset allocation responsibilities for public fixed income, public equities, private equities, and alternative fixed income. Prior to PartnerRe, he was the director of research and a portfolio manager at Oppenheimer Capital, an institutional money manager based in New York City. Phillips is a CFA charterholder and received an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an AB from Princeton University.

Keith Schlosser is global chief information officer at AXIS Capital, where he leads the company’s global information technology and data strategy. He is also responsible for driving change throughout the organisation by delivering high-quality, future-oriented IT services in line with AXIS Capital’s business strategy. Schlosser has more than 30 years of insurance industry experience, spanning roles in information technology, business solutions, marketing and sales. Prior to AXIS, he served as chief information officer for Chubb’s Overseas General Insurance division, where he spearheaded a number of growth, innovation, digital and change initiatives. Before that, he served as CIO at The Travelers Companies international division. Schlosser was also a vice president for marketing technology and web communications at AIG.

Dan Draper was appointed group chief underwriting officer in September 2022. He had previously served for more than two years as group head of underwriting at AXIS. Prior to that, he had been group chief risk and actuarial officer at VIBE. Before joining VIBE, Draper spent eight years with AXIS, holding a number of leadership roles that included group chief actuary, chief risk analytics officer, and insurance segment chief risk officer. Before that, he held managerial positions at the Financial Services Authority, XL Capital, and EY.
